In recent months numerous attacks on executives, buildings and demonstrations by organised crime syndicates have been reported against the Popular Association — Golden Dawn. For example, a) candidate MP I.L. was injured when a bomb exploded outside his office in Marousi on 20 May 2015, b) an armed attack carried out during a protest in Dimini, Magnisia, left protesters injured and damaged the Town Hall, c) an attack was carried out on offices in Mytilene on 10 November 2014 and in Chania on 25 March 2015 and threatening graffiti messages were left outside numerous offices in Greece, for example in Piraeus on 6 May 2015 and in the southern suburbs on 24 May 2015.

The police were not able in any of the above cases to protect the physical integrity of law-abiding Greek citizens and public and private property. In view of the fact that threats of indiscriminate criminal action against anyone who associates themselves with our party are being posted on popular websites and the perpetrators are using the same websites to post detailed descriptions of their illegal actions and in view of the fact that these are premeditated, targeted and planned rather than one-off actions, will the Commission say:

How will it combat terrorism?

3.

What is its view on the state of political extremism in Europe?
